A cliffside rises from the opposite bank in the background.

Description:: According to the negative sleeve, the power plant in the accompanying photographs was visited by the West, Schmitz and Lemberger party around 1912. The plant that stands in the images was not completed until 1917. It is more likely these images were taken around 1917 or later.
