A sign on the side of the float reads "San Diego, World Exposition City, 1935." On the visible corners of the float are float riders in costume with decorations featuring (L to R) a Spanish-American mission, a Chinese bridge, and a South Seas palm. The Goodhue Flagpole at the intersection of Orange Grove Blvd. and Colorado Blvd. is visible behind the float.
