Description:: Copy print photograph of the Fiesta de Los Angeles Queen at her coronation. The queen wears a paneled jacquard print dress with long gloves, necklace and tiara. Female ushers, wearing men's 17th century courtly attire, carry the train of her velvet cape. At left stands a man wearing a three-piece suit with a tall, stiff collar and narrow necktie. With exception of the females who follow her, only males are visible in the crowd. All are dressed like the man who greets the queen except for one police officer wearing a roll-collar coat with a button-down front, fabric trimmed cuffs, badge and hat with wreath-style emblem at center. Three buildings can be viewed in the background, one decorated with bunting draped over its window sills.

The center 2 women wear full-length dresses of light colored fabric and lace with a tiered skirt. A woman on the left wears a dark dress with tiered skirt and shawl. Beside her is a man in a Spanish style suit and hat, holding a cane. They are in a patio, perhaps on the campus of Santa Monica High School where the fiesta was held each year.
