Peggy Hamilton and James Francis Thaddeus O'Connor, the Comptroller of the Currency, at Grauman's Chinese Theatre for the premier of the movie Rain. Over her gown, Hamilton wears a wrap of coin-sized sequins with a fur border. Hamilton doing a radio broadcast and there are two microphones next to O'Connor, one with the radio station identifier "KHJ."

Dr. St. Louis Albert Estes (1876-1951) was an American doctor and the author of Raw Food and Health. He lived in Van Nuys, California in the late 1920s and early 1930s, and had 3 children with his first wife in the 1910s, 12 children with his second wife in the 1920s and 1930s.

Irrigation trench, Fontana, 1928-1931

Description:
Fontana was founded in 1913 by A.B. (Azarial Blanchard) Miller, d. 1878-1941. Miller first purchased the 17,000 acres of land in 1906, a year after he began working it. Miller envisioned a booming agricultural town complete with citrus orchards, cattle and poultry farms situated along Route 66. With the formation of the Fontana Land Company in 1914 and Fontana Farms Company in 1918, Miller’s vision began to come to fruition. The Los Angeles Times printed numerous articles regarding A.B. Miller, Fontana Farms and Fontana Land companies from 1914 to 1937; articles specific to poultry farming and egg production date from 1925 to 1931.
