Description:
Photograph, from left to right, of H. H. West, Daisy Kellum, Lucretia Kellum and Minnie Kellum taking tea in the Kellum family's residence. The group is gathered back from the camera, right-of-center. H. H. West sits leftmost in a rocking a chair and reaches to the right to grab a cup of tea from Daisy Kellum. Daisy Kellum stands behind and to the right of H. H. West. She hands him a cup of tea. To the right of them, a table sits between the group. Teacups rest atop a cloth covering the table. Lucretia Kellum sits on the far side of the table, to the right of Daisy. She looks to the camera while holding the teapot to the table. Minnie Kellum sits to the right of Lucretia and in front of the table. She sits in a rocking chair, in profile and facing left, as she brings a cup of tea to her mouth. To the right of her stands a doorway along the right edge of the image. Pictures hang on the wall behind Daisy and Lucretia. Curtains cover a window behind H. H. West and the arm of a sofa juts into the foreground from the lower left corner. This image appears to be double exposed with a photograph of the Kellum's family's front porch. The house's siding is visible running horizontally across the image. The front porch steps occupy the space near H. H. West's legs and the foot of the table. Behind Minnie's rocking chair, the home's doorplate hangs; it reads, "1416."

West stands leftmost and faces Earl at right. He holds up a wine bottle with one hand to pour Earl a glass of wine. He holds a glass of wine in the other hand. Earl Kellum stands rightmost and faces slightly left. He reaches one arm out and rests it on H. H. West's shoulder. In his other hand, he holds a glass of wine. A woven jug sits on the ground in front of H. H. and Earl. Overgrown grasses cover the yard that sprawls into the distance. A fence surrounds the yard. Nearby houses stand in the background at right.

West sits at the top of the steps and holds an object on his lap as he looks to the right. Lucretia Kellum stands behind H. H. at the top of the steps on the porch. She looks down towards the camera as she leans against the side of the house at left. Rails jut out from the side of the steps on both sides. Charles Wilde and Daisy Kellum sit atop the rail at left. Charles is nearer to camera. He faces right and turns to look to the camera. Daisy sits behind him. She too faces left and looks to the camera. She raises a hand to shield her face from the sun. The front door stands behind and to the right of Lucretia.
