Habla del examen a los yernos (tullqa) y el bastón de mando (wara) para el sí de la mujer elegida (warmi). Hay el bastón de plata (chuqi wara) y el bastón de oro (quri wara). La nueva familia es como una sola hebra (mä ch’ankha). Entona la canción a los yernos: Ay pululu. Antiguamente el yerno era considerado un buen hombre (suma chacha), porque tenía bastante fuerza. La nueva pareja debe ayudar a la familia de él y de ella. La nuera (yuqch’a o jukuri) la relacionan con los pájaros (jamach'i) desde antes. 2. En la selección de los padrinos de matrimonio, la gente mayor (jach’a jaqinaqa) comentaba que se debía agarrar ahijados. Antiguamente eran conocidos como abuelos mayores (jach’a awki). El padrino es tata mallku y la madrina es mama mallku. Canta otra canción en aymara al yerno (aymart’aña tullqaru), que es “Niñu… achullani…” y una canción a la nuera (yuqch’a) “Pirwa mantanta… qullqis pirwantata”. 3. Habla de los encargos a los hijos e hijas en el campo (patatukinxa). A la niña (imïll wawa) le encarga su madre, por ejemplo, de la menstruación (wila unstaña) y de cuidarse de no tener hijos, y al niño (yuqäll wawa) le encarga su padre a partir de los doce años. También hay los encargos (suma parlampi) a los recién casados (paris paluma) que viene desde antes. 4. Habla del diálogo de los casados para tener solo una cantidad determinada de hijos, tomando en cuenta que cada hijo esa un gasto en alimentación y vestimenta (isipataki). Cuando uno quiere dejar de tener hijos (allqayañataki) se debe beber hierbas, por ejemplo, pinturayay lana roja quemada (panti t'arwa nakhayaña). La procreación de los hijos debe ser espaciada en tiempos largos, para que nazcan fuertes sino serán débiles. 5. En el campo es valorada y querida (munata) la mujer que sabe tejer (sawuña) y cocinar como buena esposa, no es importante la belleza física. La luna llena (mä phaxsi urt’ata) es una época de embarazos para las mujeres y la oscuridad de la luna es cuando viene su menstruación (mä phaxsi jiwata). Hay hombres que tiene muchos hijos (wawa) sin pensar que de grandes no tendrán nada (q’ara).<br>ENGLISH: Domingo Jiménez Aruquipa is interviewed by Juan de Dios Yapita about the following topics: 1.
