Description:
This gown was designed by Max Rée, courtesy of Radio Pictures Corporation, for the Coronation Ball at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles at which Hamilton was crowned as Queen Olympia. Hamilton was the Los Angeles County Official Hostess during the 1932 summer Olympics held in Los Angeles. The location of this photograph with grand spiral staircase is not documented.

Description:
Peggy Hamilton served as "Queen of the Lions" during the 1932 international Lions Club convention in Los Angeles. Members of the convention committee honored Hamilton for her organization of the conference pageant and awarded her with a plaque during a meeting at the Biltmore. Hamilton is pictured holding her plaque wearing gloves, a hat with a tulle veil, and a fur cape over a dress.

Description:
Peggy Hamilton modeling a dress with a fitted, sleeveless bodice and full skirt. The dress fabric is light in color with a starkly contrasting dark floral embroidery incorporating sequins and stitched on bands of netting. The shoulder bows and satin gloves are also in a dark color. Hamilton is shown against a sharply contrasting background in black on the right and a painting of a street or walkway with ornamental building facades on either side in deep recession (perhaps a movie backdrop) on the left.

Description:
Peggy Hamilton modeling a lamé evening gown and metallic wig. The evening gown has a dark colored chiffon and net under dress and a lamé outer dress. The under dress has vertical pin tucks and floral trim on the bodice, net lace cap sleeves, a net lace hem ending in a train with ruffled net trim. The sleeveless lamé outer dress has a wrap closure, ornamental bands along the right side and right edge of the bodice, each terminating with a long tassel, and a narrow figured silk trim on the entire left edge of the dress. The dress has a high collar of ruffled net and chiffon streamers extend from each shoulder to each wrist.
