This photograph appears with the article “Fifteen Millions for More Good Roads.” Los Angeles Times, 1 Jan. 1925.
The Mission Bridge crossed the Santa Ana River in Riverside at Mission Inn Avenue. It was built in 1923, widened in 1931, damaged in a flood in 1938, and replaced in 1958.
