In the German village of Hagen 20-year-old Gustave Hufersen and 17-year-old Elfriede Schulte were young sweethearts. Gustave moved to America to begin a brewing business and wed another woman, while Elfriede remained in Germany and wed another man. Both of their spouses passed on several years ago, and by a bizarre coincidence the two recently met in Seattle where their romance rekindled. They wed the previous Friday at the chambers of Municipal Judge Scheinman.
