The Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition was held in 1909 in Seattle on the University of Washington campus. It celebrated the commerce and cultures of the Pacific Northwest, Alaska/Yukon, and the Pacific Rim regions.
At the AYPE, a man descending a broad staircases near the Manufactures Building. At the top of the stairs is a monumental urn on a pedestal.
