Edward C. Converse (aka Edmund C. Converse, Jr.) is one of three heirs to a fortune of more than $100,000,000 from his father's death.
The parlor shows a long room with a checkered floor and lots of natural lighting from the windows and door. There are several pieces of wicker furniture arranged throughout the room.

On the property of the original Mexican land grant of Rancho Santa Paula y Saticoy. The ranch was purchaseed by Edmund C. Converse, Jr. in 1908.
