The article states: "Five armed men believed to have been planning to hold up the First National Bank of Beverly Hills, yesterday morning abducted C.B. Duncan, Superintendent of Streets of Beverly Hills, and after forcing him into an automobile drove to a clump of eucalyptus trees near Culver City, where he was released…"
