Text from newspaper caption: A pigeon that left the new Times Building tower yesterday at 11 a.m., carried an important message to the Mayor, Chamber of Commerce and residents of Upland-an invitation to inspect The Times' Building next Thursday between 2:30 and 9 p.m. The bird was received officially by Mayor P. H. McQuillen, shown in the picture with Miss Ellen Highsmith.
