Copy print photograph of workers in a Santa Monica lumber yard. The men are seen holding hammers and saws. Most wear hats, work shirts and pants; two wear overalls. Four of the men look towards the camera while three continue working. In the yard, wood planks are stacked at foreground while the remaining area is piled with salvaged building materials, including window and door frames (at right). The lumber yard is located near the Santa Monica Ice and Cold Storage Company, recorded as being located on 12th and Colorado, Santa Monica.
