Bird's-eye view from Palisades Park towards Santa Monica Beach, seen from the cliffs above the Idaho foot path(traversed by for females, a fifth partially in view). The path leads to Pacific Coast Highway, beach houses, and the beach.
The original rustic branch fence at Palisades Park was gradually replaced with both a wood rail and a concrete fence. The project was completed around 1946. A second image housed in this negative sleeve shows the new wood rail fence (image ark no. 21198/zz002d4z5z).
