Text from newspaper caption: Her Cabins Crowded With Passengers and Her Holds With Freight, the Panama-Pacific liner Finland sailed yesterday noon for New York via the Panama Canal and Havana with an unusual list of notables aboard. Among the celebrities were Earl Cooper and Mrs. Cooper and Barney Oldfield and his bride (left to right in group at left.) Cooper and Oldfield, both famous race drivers, are en route to Miami, Fla., for the opening of the new board track there. Carlo Marchetti, widely known Los Angeles resident, and Mrs. Marchetti were passengers bound for a seven-month tour of Europe. They are pictured in the group at the right, with former Justice Joseph Marchetti (second from left) and Maj. Roger Marchetti (right,) their sons. (Times photos.)
