The theme of the 1929 fortieth annual Rose Parade was "Poems in Flowers"
Float representing the ditty "Hi Diddle Diddle, the Cat and the Fiddle, the Cow Jumped Over the Moon." The cat, fiddle cow, moon and "little dog who laughed to see such fun" are rendered in flowers. The float was entered by the city of Anaheim representing the California Valencia Orange Show. The float is shown at the intersection of Colorado Blvd. and Orange Grove Blvd.
