The antique quilts on display at Gibson Hall ranged in value from $25 to $500, owned by members of the Friday Morning Club and newly appointed member of the arts and crafts division of Women's Clubs Miss Leta Horlocker.

Text from newspaper caption: Mmes. Max Leavitt and Nathaniel Stockwell of the Friday Morning Club were exhibitors and hostesses at the first annual handcraft and heirloom exhibit of the club when more than fifty remarkable quilts were shown. There were no prizes given, but competition was high in exhibiting the rarest examples.
