- Text from negative sleeve: Color 25 Yellowstone trip. Salt Lake City, Sunday June 21, 1942. 1. The Utah Motor Park, where we stayed all night. 1000 State Street. Our Buick in front of the Big U. 2. Mertie West beside the apartment "Happirest" that we had for the night. Our Buick at left. 3. In the Temple grounds. An escorted trip thru the grounds with a young Mormon guide, in the uniform of a sailor. Mertie West right in front listening to the boy. 4. The Sea Gull Monument and the Assembly building.
