Debbie West is the granddaughter of H. H. West (the photographer), and the daughter of Anna Louise Roth West (and Henry Hebard West). "Dode" is Sarah Josephine Witherby. Mertie West was the second wife of H. H. West. "Will Witherby" probably refers to William Witherby, brother of "Dode."
