According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
An out-of-focus photograph of the United States Supreme Court Building, as viewed at an angle from the south. First Street NE passes through the foreground on an angle back to the left. The far side of the street is lined by hedges. A sign posted in the hedges at far right reads, "NO ROLLER SKATING." Beyond the hedges, the west facade of the Supreme Court Building rises, off-center to the right. The neoclassical building is viewed at an angle from the front and faces left. A columned portico juts forward from the center of the building. It is capped by a sculpted pediment. The building's wings stretch out to either side of the west porch. Two sculpted, seated figures extend out from the porch and flank it. At center, a flagpole rises and the American flag waves atop it. Nearby buildings are visible in the background at left. Four punched holes line the bottom edge at right.
