Description

According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
An out-of-focus photograph of a woman walking past the camera at an observation point overlooking the American Falls. The woman stands at center with crossed arms. She appears to be mid-step as she walks towards the left, ignoring the camera. The walkway she stands upon stretches across the bottom edge on an upward angle from left to right before curving to the left again. Behind the woman, grassy expanses occupy the space between the walkways. A tree in the foreground stands behind and to the right of the woman. The walkways converge to an observation area in the near distance at center. The lookout is lined by railings along the right edge and horizontally at center. Past the railings, the Niagara River enters frame from the left and flows towards center. At center, the Niagara River flows over the top of the American Falls. Farther back, some of the water is visible cascading over the falls. Mist rises from the foot of the falls in the background. The Niagara River flows through Niagara Gorge in the hazy distance at right. Four punched holes line the top edge at left.
