Description

According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
A poorly-exposed photograph of the Whirlpool Aero Car and tramway hovering over the Niagara Whirlpool. The scene is viewed from an elevated perspective. The Aero Car sits upon its cable track in the near distance at left. An arced metal truss sits atop the car. Four sets of 3 wheels extend from the sides of the car and rest atop the cables of the tramway. Further below the tram, the Whirlpool Rapids section of the Niagara River flows from the lower right corner and towards the Niagara Whirlpool at center. A hillside juts into frame from right and the river's left bank stretches along the background. Beyond the whirlpool, the Niagara River flows to the right, continuing through the Niagara Gorge.
