According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
A poorly-exposed and out-of-focus photograph of a carved boulder in Lexington Common commemorating the Minute Men, as viewed close-up. The boulder sits at center and is viewed at a slight angle from the front. Carved reliefs of a rifle and powder horn sit at the top of the flush rock face. Within and below the reliefs, the inscription reads, "LINE OF THE MINUTE MEN APRIL 19, 1775 STAND YOUR GROUND DON'T FIRE UNLESS FIRED UPON BUT IF THEY MEAN TO HAVE A WAR LET IT BEGIN HERE CAPTAIN PARKER." Nearby trees stand in a line behind and to the right of the rock. The grassy expanse of the common stretches into the distance at left and centers. Trees line the back edge of the common and a house at right stands in the far distance. Four punched holes line the top edge at left.
