According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
A hazy and out-of-focus photograph of Mertie West standing on a street corner in Seattle. The curb Mertie West stands upon enters frame from the bottom edge and extends back and out-of-frame at left. Mertie West stands left-of-center and is viewed close-up. She looks to the left. Directly behind her, a pole stands. Beyond the pole, a car (partial view) is parked along the street. It is viewed at an angle from the rear. Its license plate reads, "A165 [...] WASHINGTO[N] [...]." Behind and to the right of Mertie, a man steps off the curb and crosses the street. He faces right. On the far side of road, cars are parked in front of a long building that enters frame at right, stretching alongside the road and into the distance at left. Five punched holes line the right edge.
