A small, arced stone footbridge is visible at the top of the small waterfall. Mertie West stands in the middle of the garden, at the top of the cascading tiers. She faces towards the camera, standing at center and just to the left of the footbridge. A pergola stands back in the garden behind Mertie. Tall pines line the back edge of the garden in the background. Four punched holes dot the bottom edge at right.
