Photograph of Mertie West strolling through the Cascade of Time Garden in Banff and Banff National Park. A small pond stretches across the foreground. Tiers of flowers, shrubs and trees stretch up and back, lining the back edge of the pond. At center, water cascades down 4 stacked, slab-stone tiers. A small, arced stone footbridge is visible at the top of the small waterfall. Mertie West stands in the middle of the garden, at the top of the cascading tiers. She faces towards the camera, standing at center and just to the left of the footbridge. A pergola stands back in the garden behind Mertie. Tall pines line the back edge of the garden in the background. Four punched holes dot the bottom edge at right.
