Photograph of Mertie West standing along the water's edge at Moraine Lake in the Valley of Ten Peaks in Banff National Park. Mertie West stands in the foreground at center. She stands in profile and faces left. Behind her at right, a pine tree stands and others stand on the shore in silhouette. Moraine Lake extends from the left and back behind Mertie at right, disappearing behind the near shore. A few of the Ten Peaks rise from the opposite bank of Moraine Lake and are covered with snow. Four punched holes line the bottom edge at right.
