An out-of-focus photograph of H. H. West standing on the railroad station's platform at Dunsmuir. H. H. stands in the near distance, left-of-center. He faces towards the camera as he leans an arm to a wall at left. The platform stretches back behind him on an angle from left to right. A barrier wall lines the left side of the platform. Beyond the wall, a steep hillside slopes upward to the left. It is dotted by trees. A white blur hovers around and above H. H. Five punched holes line the right edge.
