According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
Photograph looking across the grounds of Banff Spings Hotel towards Tunnel Mountain and the Bow River Valley from a terrace. The buildings and grounds of the Banff Springs Hotel stretch across the foreground and mid-ground. A veranda atop a portion of the building juts into frame at left. Beyond and below it, the hotel's pool area (partial view) is visible at left. Guests stand and lounge around the pool area. From the pool area, the hotel grounds extend along the bottom edge and towards the right. Beyond the hotel grounds, Banff National Park stretches into the distance. Bow River flows back through the valley at right. Tunnel Mountain rises at left and extends beyond the left frame. Additional mountains stand in the distance at the far end of Bow River Valley at right. Four punched holes line the bottom edge at right.
