- Description
- Photograph of Mertie West walking away from the Shawcreek Lodge. Mertie West stands in the foreground, left-of-center. She faces towards the camera and looks to the left as she walks away from the lodge behind her. A person's arm enters the foreground along the left frame. Behind Mertie, a dirt pathway stretches through the middle of the image. It leads towards the front entrance of the lodge. Wood plank walkways lie on the ground in front of the entrance. Three men and a dog stand out front. The front entrance of the lodge stands at center. The enclosed entrance juts forward from the front of the building. Over the door, a sign reads, "SHAWCREEK BUS STOP." The building extends behind Mertie and across the image. It extends out-of-frame at left and right.
