- An out-of-focus photograph of Mertie West posing outside the front entrance to Shawcreek Lodge. A dirt pathway stretches from the bottom edge and back through center, giving way to a wood plank walkway that continues back towards the lodge. The front entrance of the lodge stands at center. The enclosed entrance juts forward from the front of the building. The door stands open and Mertie West poses to the right of it. Over the door, a sign reads, "SHAWCREEK LODGE BUS STOP." The building extends behind Mertie and across the image. It extends out-of-frame at left and right.
