Notes
- Description
- Distant view of Mertie West standing on the sidewalk in front of the First National Bank of Fairbanks. A street passes through the foreground on a slight angle. On the opposite side of the street, a car is parked along the curb at right. It is viewed at an angle from the side and faces left. Beyond the car, Mertie West stands at center on the sidewalk just outside the entrance to the First National Bank of Fairbanks. She faces the camera. Several other people walk along the sidewalk. Behind her, the First National Bank of Fairbanks stands. The art-deco-styled building stands 2-stories tall at center and is viewed at a slight angle. A large metal plaque containing the name of the bank sits above the door's lintel. An abutting building stands to the right of the bank.
