- View towards the base of oil well probably at the Venice oil field with the ocean in background on the left. A worker unloads drilling equipment from a "Speed & Service Truck Co. Brea 62" flatbed truck. Nine other workers are on the platform at the base of the derrick. Two workers are on top of the derrick base building. More men are outside a house with wood siding in the background on the right.
