- Stairway in the Brown's home. There is a bench at the bottom of the stairs with hats piled on it. A sculpture is on the bannister and the newel post is carved. There is a carpet on the stairs and a painting hangs on the wall at the upper right of the image.

- Text from negative sleeve: 1750. Los Angeles, Calif., about 1900. Magnolia Ave., South. Brown's house. Abe Whitaker contracted with father to build them a home on Griffin Ave. across the street from where we lived. Wanted it built just like Brown's new house out on Magnolia Avenue, near 16th St. I went over and took photos of the house for father to have before him in making up the plans. 1. A rear view of the home. 2. A side view of the house. 3. The stairway and seat. 4. Close up of newell [sic] post and bannisters. 5. The dining room buffet. 5 films.
