- Photograph of the first house that the family of George M. West lived in when they arrived in Los Angeles. Sichel Street stretches across the foreground. The house stands on the opposite side of the street. A low concrete wall rises from the sidewalk and lines the front yard. The single-story home stands at center. A bay window extends from the right side of the front of the house. A porch stretches across the left side of the front of the house and extends back along the left side of the home. A neighboring house stands in partial view at left.
