Agnes Whitaker and Mertie West eat at a table at Rock Creek. Mrs. Whitaker wears a flat hat and an apron. Mrs. West has one arm in the air and in the other hand she holds a fork or spoon. The table is covered with jars, bowls, cups, and plates. There is a large box of Wheaties on the table. At the right, there is another table with more supplies on it. There are other supplies in the background, including a Scotch Soap box. There are trees in the background.
Mertie West was H. H. West's second wife. Agnes Whitaker was Mertie's sister-in-law.
