- Description
- Photograph, from left to right, of Glen Velzy and H. H. West laden with gear as they stand outside Glen Velzy's cabin in Santa Anita Canyon. Both men stand outside the cabin with their backs to it as they look to the camera. Glen Velzy stands at left, facing slightly right, and looks to camera; he wears a backpack. Standing in front of him and to the right is H. H. West. He too wears a backpack and faces slightly right; he carries 2 paper bags. Printed on one of the bags is, "ALEXANDERS." Behind them at left stands Glen Velzy's cabin, "LA-CASITA." The front of the cabin is in partial view. It enters the frame at left and narrows as it stretches across the image towards the center. A tree stands directly behind Glen and in front of the cabin. The front yard of the cabin extends in front of H. H. at right. In the background, trees line the edge of the cabin's front yard.
