- Distant view of the Catalina ferry sailing through a channel and leaving the harbor in San Pedro. A rock wall lines the channel along the left edge of the image. The channel runs alongside it to the right. In the distance, the ferry sails towards both the camera and to the right, right-of-center. Smoke billows from its 2 smokestacks. It is surrounded by the water in the channel. In the far distance, the shoreline lines the channel at left and center.
