Mrs. West wears a turban and glasses and holds her purse on her lap. Mrs. Siemsen holds her purse on her lap and wears a coat. The West's Buick is parked at the right and there is a truck next to it. In the background, there is a building with trees next to it.
Though the negative sleeve gives the date as March 8, 1943, based on other photographs taken on the same day, this photograph was actually taken on March 8, 1942.
