Text from negative sleeve: 1193. San Luis Obispo, California, Sunday, March 8, 1942. 1. Our arrival at the S. P. R. R. depot at San Luis Obispo. One of the other soldiers took our pictures. Said he knew how to do it. He shook. L to R: Mertie West. H. H. West. H. H. West Jr. Elizabeth West [handwritten:] Siemsen. Poor film. Too bad. The army truck that brot [sic] the rest of the boys to the depot is in the back ground. 1 film.
