- Description
- Photograph of H. H. West's Buick and another car (presumably, Dave F. Smith's EMF) parked side-by-side on a dirt road in front of Little Lake Store. The cars sit in the near distance with H. H. West's Buick nearest to the camera. They are parked left-of-center and are viewed at an angle from the side; they face right. Dave F. Smith's EMF is parked behind the Buick, closer to the the store. The dirt road stretches across the image at an upward angle from low right to the left. A pile of rocks jut into the image from the lower left corner and line the roadside. Behind the cars, Little Lake Store stands at right. The stone building extends out-of-frame at right. It has a pitched, corrugated roof. A sign posted next to the rightmost window reads, "LITTLE LAKESTORE ROOMS AND BOARD GASOLINE -COSO SPRINGS STAGE-." An outbuilding extends from the left side of the store. A couple of wagons are parked at far left, behind the cars. Mountains are visible in the background.
