Rocks continue to line a hillside in the background at left and trees stand in the background at right.

- Text from negative sleeve: 1127. Smith West tour August 1913. Cottonwood Creek. We got in there the last day of August and next day September first the golden trout season opened and we were the only fishermen in there. 1. H.H.West's Buick on the grade up Cottonwood Creek. 2. We camped at the only level place a level place by the bridge. 3. Our camp. Nella West standing talking to Mrs Dave Smith, sitting. 4. Our camp. Dave Smith by the stove. 5. Very brushy. I am fishing Cottonwood Creek from a log in the brush. 5 films
