Mountains rise from the opposite shore.

Text from negative sleeve: 1104. Smith West tour 1913. August. Silver Lake. Not a boat on the lake. There was an old raft. Dave Smith rowing, H.H.West fishing. Lots of fish. Only one other camp at Silver Lake when we came in; Joe Welch and party from Pasadena. While we were there a man named Smith of Masonic, Nevada, drove in with wife and boy in a spring wagon. We had the whole country to ourselves. 1 film
