Description: Photograph of a woman crawling on the sand and under a rope while Mary Whitaker watches her on the beach in Redondo Beach. A rope stretches horizontally across the image. It appears to extend from the beach at right, tapering towards the ocean, out-of-frame, at left. A woman at center crawls on the ground, facing right, on the far side of the rope. She appears to be fetching a hat that lies on the sand at right, beneath the rope. Behind her and to the left, Mary Whitaker faces towards the camera and watches the woman crawling on the sand. Behind them, a few people play in the ocean as waves crash to the shore.
