- An out-of-focus photograph of H. H. West standing next to the fish he and Glen Velzy caught in Newport Beach. H. H. West stands left-of-center and gazes off towards the right. He props an arm up on a wooden post to the right and holds onto his fishing rod. From the post he leans upon, a wooden plank extends out towards the right. A dozen or so fish dangle from the plank. Behind H. H., waves crash on the shore at left and a pier extends across the horizon.
