Notes
- Description
- Photograph looking out towards the ocean while Glen Velzy poses with fish he and H. H. West caught in Newport Beach. Glen Velzy stands in the foreground at right; he faces and looks towards the left. A fishing pole is propped up behind him as he holds a wood plank that extends horizontally to the left. About a couple dozen fish dangle from the plank. A couple crates sit on the sand beneath the plank at left. The top crate reads, "HYDRO PURA," and "TWO WATER SOF[T]E[NER] THE BEST CLEANSER KNOWN HYDR[A] PURA BA[TH] TOILE[T] LAUND[RY] KITCHEN SCHALK CHEMICAL CO. LOS ANGELES, CAL." Waves crash on the shore at left and a pier extends across the background.
