Notes
- Description
- Photograph, from left to right, of an unidentifiable man, Joe Pike and Dick Young lounging inside their tent near New River in the Imperial Valley. The tent is viewed straight-on from the open side. A man in the back of the tent at left lies on his back with one leg propped up and a hat over his face. He is obscured by a stool sitting in front of him. Joe Pike rests in a reclined position in the back right corner of the tent and looks towards the camera. Dick Young sits in the near corner at right. His back is to camera and his head is turned to the left. Wooden crates, suitcases and rucksacks litter the campsite. A few white streaks stretch across the foreground.
