Photograph of Joe Pike reclining in the camping party's tent near New River. He reclines inside the tent and looks to the camera. His legs are outstretched in front of him as he rests on a propped up elbow. The interior of the tent is strewn with blankets and boxes. A wooden crate sits in the foreground at center. The tent is canopied over Joe. Its sides hang behind him and on the right.
