- A blurry photograph of the West-Schmitz-Stavnow-Cole party campsite near Hilton Creek. The campsite is bounded by a tent at left, boulders at center and H. H. West's Cadillac on the right. A member of the camping party bends over the camp stove in front of the boulders just right-of-center. Charles Stavnow stands at right in front and to the left of the Cadillac with his back to the camera. The Cadillac is viewed from the front at an angle. In the distance at right, a snow-covered mountain stands.
