She has white cloth or paper on her lap. Mary West looks at the camera. She wears a large hat that ties under he chin. Mr. Cooper smokes a cigar and wears a hat. Frances and Elizabeth sit on a long cushion. Both girls have bows in their hair. Frances holds a bottle. Elizabeth holds her hand up to her mouth. She is eating. Papers, cups, and what may be a canteen are on the picnic blanket. A car is behind the group at the left. There are trees, bushes, mountains, and a utility pole in the background.
